Andhra Bank to organise credit camp between Sept 25-Oct 2

Andhra Bank is planning to organise a mega credit camp between September 25 and October 2.

This camp is for the disbursal of SHISHU loans under the PMMY (Prime Minister Mudra Yojana) scheme. No collateral or guarantee would be sought during the camp period, S Trinath Sridhar, Deputy-General Manager and Manager of the Coimbatore zone of the bank, said.

Tamil Nadu's target for disbursal of Mudra loans this fiscal is Rs 65 crore, he said.

(Loans of up to Rs 10 lakh to the non-farm sector such as in manufacturing, trading, and services are classified as Mudra loans under PMMY).

In addition to Mudra, the bank has launched two schemes — AB Emerald Plus (current account) and AB Super Salary (savings bank account) — with attractive features.

It has also launched a two- and four-wheeler loan camp for women. During the campaign period — between September 1 and January 31, 2016, the bank would offer such loans at concessional rate to women borrowers, besides waiving processing charges.
