Bankers Onesource Services Consultants (BOSCO), a corporate training and outsourced services provider to the banking and financial sector, commenced operations in Bengaluru on Friday.
Speaking after inaugurating the company, Vivek Kulkarni, former Karnataka IT/BT Secretary, and managing director of Brickwork Ratings India said, “In view of the growing concerns on optimisation of resources, risk management, and increasing competition with the advent of new–gen financial institutions, there will be demand for training and outsourcing services in the banking sector and BOSCO was poised to fill this void.”
T Y Prabhu, Chairman, Dhanalaxmi Bank, who was the guest, said the influx of young recruits and rising customer expectations have resulted in a dearth of skilled employees and BOSCO was equipped to fill this gap.
D. S. Anandamurthy spoke on behalf of the promoters and said the motto of BOSCO, ‘V for U’, denotes that industry veterans were offering their guidance and assistance under one umbrella to the banking and financial sector.
