Each branch is key for the growth of the bank, according to P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director of Karnataka Bank Ltd.
Addressing the business review conference of the bank for the second quarter of 2014-15 in Mangalore on Thursday, he said that the bank has been able to record impressive results for the second quarter of the current fiscal with a growth of over 200 per cent in net profit.
“With business sentiments improving, all efforts should be made to encash these sentiments to augment business volumes and operating surplus through aggressive credit expansion and effective NPA management. Hence, performance of each branch is key for growth of bank," he said.
With best customer service, the bank should be able to record an all-round growth and take the performance to a new high, Bhat said.
