State Bank of India (SBI) on Saturday said its online services may not be accessible on June 21 as it will be deploying a “new environment” for some of its applications.
“This may result in intermittent issues with online services. We request our customers to plan accordingly to avoid being inconvenienced,” India’s largest bank said in a tweet.
As at March-end 2020, SBI had 44.89 crore customers, and the share of transactions on alternate channels was at 91 per cent.
Alternate channels include internet banking, mobile banking, ATMs, etc.
