SBT cuts base rate to 10.25%

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has reduced the base rate from 10.50 per cent to 10.25 per cent.

The benchmark prime lending rate has been revised lower from 15.50 per cent to 15.25 per cent.

The bank has also revised the interest rates for domestic, non-resident ordinary (NRO) and non-resident external (NRE) term deposits with effect from Monday.

The interest rate for ‘FlexiMax’ deposits too has been reduced from 8 per cent to 7.50 per cent.
