State Bank of Hyderabad has announced the launch of the rupee pre-paid cards.
Managing Director M. Bhagavantha Rao said the new facility will be available at all SBH branches for the customers as well as non-customers of the bank subject to compliance of the ‘know your customer’ guidelines.
The pre-paid stored value product is supported by a magnetic strip based technology. It is usable at the bank’s ATMs, has specified expiry date, a release said.
To get the card, no prior banking relationships required, except meeting guidelines. Enquiry of balance, viewing card statement through State Bank ATMs and online is possible.
