The United Bank of India (UBI) today launched an online Saving Bank account opening facility.
According to P Srinivas, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, the facility will help prospective customers, who find it difficult to visit the bank’s branches.
Such prospective customers can now open a Savings Account by visiting the bank’s website (through a PC, tablet or smart-phone). The said facility also has the feature of uploading a photograph and KYC documents for quick processing, UBI said in a release.
