India scripted history as on August 23 when ISRO’s ambitious Moon mission, the Chandrayaan-3 soft landed on the lunar surface, making it only the fourth country to accomplish the feat and the first to reach the uncharted south Moon. The Mission has two parts, the Lander Module, Vikram, and the rover, Pragyan, which conducted several experiments on the Moon’s surface.
