The United Nations declared June 21 as International Yoga Day in 2015. Since then, mass yoga sessions are being conducted every year to raise awareness on the benefits of yoga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led the nation on the 4th International Yoga Day from Dehradun, said yoga has shown the world the way from "illness to wellness”.
