‘Protests have not changed society’

Society has not changed despite widespread protests after the Delhi gang-rape incident lat year , Meira Kumar, Lok Sabha Speaker said here on Sunday. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of “The World Confluence of Humanity, Power & Spirituality” organised by the SREI Foundation, Kumar said: “Unfortunately, there is no change in society.” The reply came in response to a specific question on whether she perceived any change for the good in society since the public outburst over the Delhi gang-rape incident.
