Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his maiden visit to the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai on Monday.
He visited the Dhruva research reactor, which produces fissile materials for the country.
He was briefed by RK Sinha, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and other top officials on the DAE’s extensive R&D and education programmes.
