A tabernacle is an ornamented cabinet usually placed in churches on or above the altar.
Missal Books. Evolved from the Latin word ‘Miss’ denoting ‘Mass’, the missal contains the prescribed prayers and instructions read or sung during the Eucharist.

Church antiques on rare display at the Archdiocesan Heritage Museum in Goregaon. More than 130 artefacts from Churches in Mumbai and Goa are on display at St Pius X College. The exhibition, titled ‘Panis Angelicus’ (the Bread of Angels), is part of the Eucharistic congress, a gathering of priests and clergymen in the city.
