Architectural marvels of Charles Correa

Charles Correa, who played a defining role in developing architecture and urban planning in independent India, passed away on Tuesday. Here are a few pictures of some landmark buildings designed by him.

Charles Correa's most celebrated creation is the Sabarmati Ashram. also known as Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya, which was designed by him in 1963. Photo: Special Arrangement
