As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBE) organised a run for a ‘Clean and Green Coimbatore, today.
The 10 km and five km run had attracted over 1,400 participants and the funds collected thus were handed over to Resident Awareness Association of Coimbatore to support various projects to beautify the city, Vijay Ratnaparkhe, Managing Director and President, RBE told reporters here.
Stating that the company’s CSR was aligned to the vision towards extending ‘smart solution’ to create long lasting value to the society, he said the company’s initiatives in the areas of education and environment were towards creating sustainable benefit and ensuring a better and greener tomorrow.
The event would be made an annual feature and would be organised in other cities and town, where Bosch was present, he said, adding that participants included college students, members of Coimbatore Runnes Group, employees and employees’ family and friends from Bosch.
