Teams from Chennai and Coimbatore are the winners of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2012.
The team from Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai, consisting of Sreekanth and Jayakanthan, emerged the winner of the Tata track for employees of Tata group companies; while Arun Saravanan and Yogesh Pai from Chennai Silks, Coimbatore were the winners of the non-Tata track (corporates outside the Tata group) of the 9th edition of the business quiz.
The knowledge initiative from the Tata Group, which kickstarted in Ranchi in August, ended with the national finals at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
Winners of eight regional rounds of the Tata track and 20 regional rounds of the non-Tata track participated in the finals.
B. Muthuraman, Vice-Chairman, Tata Steel, awarded the prize of Rs 5 lakh and a trophy to the winners.
The prizes for the quiz this year were co-supported by Tata Docomo, Titan and Tata Nano.
