A biopic TV series on Baba Ramdev is set to hit the air from February 12.
Discovery India said that the TV series ‘Swami : Ek Sangharsh’ will be telecast from Monday on its new general entertainment channel Discovery Jeet. The show has been co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films and Watergate Production for the broadcaster.
The broadcaster said that the 85-episode TV series will showcase the Yoga guru’s never before seen life journey.
“Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh’s trailer and TV campaign have generated immense interest on social media and have raked up an impressive 25 million plus views across YouTube and Facebook,” an official statement added.
The company said that Discovery Jeet will be launched with the highest-ever distribution of more than 100 million households and will be available across all leading DTH and cable TV platforms. The channel will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It has also signed Netflix as the exclusive global OTT platform partner.
