The Finance Forum of Manipal Institute of Management has organised a workshop on ‘Tax planning and investment' in Manipal recently.
A press release said here that Mr Muralidhar Kini, Secretary of the Udupi branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, who was the workshop coordinator, dealt about tax planning aspect by providing an overview about the different clauses of the Income-Tax Act.
Dr G.K. Prabhu, Registrar of Manipal University, inaugurated the workshop.
