GREAT Indian Business School will be offering its first post-graduate diploma programmes in retail management and retail entrepreneurship from September here.

"We have set up this school with a complete focus on retail in view of the vast growth potential in retail sector,’’ Mr Rajendra Prasad Nadella, Chairman and Managing Director, Global Retail Education and Training, told newspersons here on Thursday.

The school, set up in a six-acre plot at Kompally near here, had tied up with the Australian Retail College for technical and curriculum expertise.

As of now, the school does not have any regulatory recognition as one-year diploma programmes are not under regulatory purview.

"Admission will be given to 30 students each of these programmes with a fee-structure of Rs 2.75 lakh,’’ school’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sarat Tipirneni, said.
