Sandeep Patra from IIM-Bangalore won the ‘Chanakya - The MasterMind’ award at the 17th MMA All India Management Students Convention organised by Madras Management Association (MMA) here on Wednesday.
The two-day annual convention sponsored by CavinKare and powered by The Hindu BusinessLine , saw 3,500 entries from b-schools and management institutions for this year’s competition, out of which 41 contestants were shortlisted based on academic performance and initial screening tests.
The shortlisted contestants went through three rounds of evaluation during the pre-final rounds on September 24.
The second day of the student convention saw the grand finale with participation of 10 finalists battling out in the final two rounds amidst 1,500 management student audience.
Chief guest of the event, Raju Venkatraman, Founder Chairman & CEO, Medall Healthcare Pvt Ltd, presented the cash award of ₹1 lakh and a trophy to Patra.
