The Government on Friday said it would consider opening Kendriya Vidyalays (KVs) in 155 districts where such schools do not exist.
Replying to a question in Rajya Sabha, Human Resource Development Minister M M Pallam Raju said that construction of 60 KVs was under construction.
During the 12th Plan (2012-17) there is a proposal to open 500 KVs in the country.
