The NALSAR University of Law has joined hands with CYCOPS Information Security Services to start CTRL-Z, a cyber forensic laboratory at its Shamirpet campus here.

The cyber lab will help law enforcement authorities and judiciary in retrieving digital evidence from the devices in question, analyse the data and document the data thus retrieved.

“It will conduct long-term and short-term certificate courses in cyber laws and cyber forensic studies. Besides, it would conduct conferences and workshops for stakeholders,” a NALSAR spokesperson said.

“CTRL-Z will conduct annual hackathons for students to help them find solutions and improve their learning cycles in the field of cyber technologies,” Cycops Director G Prasana said.

A team of trainees from the National Investigation Agency would be the first batch to get trained in the new laboratory.
