Nearly 880 students were placed at various companies at the end of the first session at IIT Madras.
The highest domestic salary was Rs 34 lakh for which two offers were made. The highest foreign salary offered was $129,500 for which three offers were made.
Session one almost matched last year's numbers. The interviews were conducted in the campus from December 1, said a press release from the institute.
