Wipro has partnered Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB), to create a mainstream movement around sustainability in management education and to create a platform at XUB for institutional networks.
As part of this, India’s third largest exporter has collaborated with XUB to conduct a Best Paper Awards on 'Advancing Sustainability in Management Education and Research on Energy, Peace and Global Governance' P S Narayan, VP & Head-Sustainability, Wipro said: “As a part of this we are hoping to increase awareness around sustainability.”
Academics and researchers from leading academic institutions such as the IIMs, TISS, IRMA and JNU presented papers at the summit. Necessary changes in curriculum, pedagogy and shifting from theory to practice are things that are under way, said S Peppin, Dean at Xavier School of Sustainability.
