Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to visit Gujarat to attend the 4th convocation ceremony of Rashtriya Rakha University (RRU) at Gandhinagar on January 13, an official release stated on Thursday.
Indian Navy officers
Approximately 447 students will participate in the convocation ceremony, which will include 11 officers of the Indian Navy who will receive their diploma and PG Diploma certificates from the Finance Minister.
During the ceremony, three students will be awarded PhD degrees, while 13 outstanding students will be recognised as gold medallists for their exceptional performance throughout their academic tenure, the release added.
