IIM-Vizag will commence classes for the first batch of its students at the Andhra University campus today. The varsity has provided space to to conduct classes temporarily till the IIM campus at Gambheeram near Anandapuram comes up.
Auto and taxi unions in the capital have threatened to take out a protest march today from Rajghat to the secretariat against the newly-introduced ‘City Taxi’ scheme of the AAP government under which small cars will be allowed to ply. The Delhi Auto Rickshaw Sangh and Delhi Pradesh Taxi Union fear the new scheme will “snatch” their livelihood.
