Five things to watch out for today

The Supreme Court deadline for Vijay Mallya to make a full disclosure of all assets held by him ends today. The court asked Mallya to disclose the details after lenders led by SBI rejected had his settlement offer. The banks termed the offer inadequate and excessively hinged on conditions.

The Centre is to launch its Twitter Seva today. The new initiative will address the queries of startups in a time-bound manner and is among the steps it is said to be taking to support budding entrepreneurs.

The labour ministry will hold tripartite talks today to assess how larger pictorial warnings on tobacco products have impacted the livelihood of 1.50 crore bidi workers in the country. A health ministry notification on September 24 had made such warnings, covering 85 per cent of the packets of tobacco products, mandatory.

The Olympic Flame for the 2016 Rio Games will be lit today in Ancient Olympia. After a relay, the flame will be handed over to Rio officials on April 27 in a ceremony at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympics were held in 1896.

British luxury car maker Bentley Motors will launch its first SUV Bentayga in India today. Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, the Bentayga is 5.14 metres long, with a wheelbase of nearly three metres. It is based on an iteration of the VW Group's new MLB-Evo platform for large vehicles.
