Income-Tax officials are conducting investigation at the Apollo Hospitals' facilities at multiple locations across the country.
A senior I-T official confirmed that the searches started at various locations, including the residence of Apollo Hospitals' Executive Vice-Chairperson, Preetha Reddy. He did not elaborate on what the investigation was all about.
A spokesperson for the Apollo Group said the company will be issuing an official statement.
A vehicle belonging to the Deputy Director, Investigation, was stationed outside the Apollo Hospitals since morning.
