Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that “Kerala is transitioning into a digitally driven economy, and landmark infrastructure projects like the LuLu IT twin towers are vital in attracting global tech investments and generating employment for the youth.

He also added that LuLu Group plans further investments in the State, including a ₹500-crore investment for IT Towers in Infopark phase 2. The 9.5 lakh square feet tower is expected to create 7,500 jobs and boost Kerala’s IT growth.

Yusuffali M.A, Chairman of Lulu Group, said the twin towers symbolise the company’s vision to make Kerala a competitive hub for global technology players. This development is part of our larger commitment to support Kerala’s growth in the IT and services sector. This will also drive re-migration by creating high-quality job opportunities for the youth within Kerala.

V.D. Satheesan, Leader of the Opposition, said the twin towers stand as architectural and technological marvels that reflect Kerala’s growing potential in the global IT landscape. Initiatives like these not only create employment, but also inspire confidence in Kerala as a hub for high-end innovation and encourage the return of skilled professionals to their roots.

“This world-class IT infrastructure will act as a catalyst for Kerala’s digital economy and support the return of skilled professionals to the state,” added Rajeev Chandrasekhar, State BJP President.

Strategically located inside the SmartCity Kochi SEZ, the twin towers are 152 metres tall and have 30 floors each. Spanning 12.74 acres, the development offers a total built-up area of 3.5 million sq. ft, including 2.5 million sq. ft of leasable space, and is designed to accommodate over 30,000 IT professionals. The project aligns with Kerala’s larger vision to emerge as a new-age innovation hub for the digital economy.
