Answers to present problems in the economy lie in achieving efficiency, and managers play a major role in this, according to Abhijit Sen, Member, 14th Finance Commission. Sen, also a former member of the Planning Commission, was addressing students of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education at its fourth convocation.
Stating that the country had limited time to take advantage of the demographic dividend, the economist asked youngsters to spearhead for growth. In his presidential address, C H Hanumantha Rao, Chancellor of the University, reiterated the need to revamp higher education.
