The Income-Tax Department is setting up special counters at Gayathri Vihar, Palace Grounds here, on July 29 to 31 to facilitate filing of income-tax returns of salaried employees and pensioners.
The special counters will remain open between 9.30 am and 5 pm on all the three days. A department press note said tax returns would not be accepted at HMT Bhavan on those three days.
Last date for filing the returns of salaried employees and pensioners is July 31.
