Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the new capital would be developed with the support of experts from Singapore and Japan, who have both developed world class urban infrastructure.
Addressing a press conference, he said that while experts from Singapore would provide master plan, designs and construction expertise, companies based in Japan would extend necessary support for development of the capital and smart cities.
He said that land pooling was the best way out to secure necessary land for development of the Capital city as it would be beneficial to the farmers and the Government. Though farmers themselves are open to this suggestion, some of the political parties and local leaders are opposing the move.
He hoped that all the issues for the new capital would be sorted out. This is a good opportunity to develop a new capital, he said.
