In its first major recruitment drive after the State bifurcation, the Andhra Pradesh Government will be notifying its teacher eligibility-cum-teacher recruitment test for filling up 9,061 teacher posts on Friday.
This was disclosed by Ganta Srinivasarao, Minister for Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, at the State Secretariat here on Thursday.
The posts to be filled up include secondary grade teachers and school assistants. The State Government had already issued guidelines on eligibility and modalities of recruitment.
Online applications would be accepted between December 3, 2014 and January 17, 2015. The written examination would be held during May 9-11, 2015. "The results of the written test will be released on June 28, 2014,'' the Minister said.
