AP Real Estate Developers’ Association forms new body

The Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers’ Association has announced the new Governing Body valid for a two-year term.

During its 17th Annual General Body Meeting held today, P. Dasharath Reddy has been elected as the new President of association and Chalapathi Rao and B. Sunil Chandra Reddy as Executive Vice-Presidents.

The general body elected M. Vijaya Sai as Secretary-General and K. Gopalakrishna as Treasurer.

Dasharath Reddy, President, APREDA, in a statement said, “Today, the real estate industry is in a transition period and the association has always been taking proactive steps to support and serve the builder and developers community.”

The association has been playing a role in the Government formulating realty-friendly policies and putting in place a comprehensive model to serve realty and the public.

It has been proactive in helping rationalisation of taxes and fees such as VAT, service tax, stamp duty and other registration charges.
