ASUS has established its retail presence in Tamil Nadu with the launch of its first exclusive store in Coimbatore.
The company is planning to open three more outlets within the next 30 to 45 days, one each at Chennai, Madurai and Tiruchi.
“We are targeting the tier II and III towns and cities to grow,’’ said Alex Huang, Country Manager – System Business Group for ASUS (India).
The company has established a network of 40 stores till now in places such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Goa, Thane, Raipur, Bhilai, Gurgaon, Durgapur, Kanpur, Kochi, Siliguri, Noida, Pune, Amravati, Kottayam, Lucknow and Jaipur.
It is planning to take it to 100 by the end of this fiscal.
After inaugurating the company’s store called the ‘Engineers Zone’ here, Alex said that the entire range of fully working Netbooks and Notebooks launched by ASUS till date will be featured in the outlet.
