Bengaluru Passport Office issues 25 lakh under Seva Project

The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Bengaluru has crossed a major landmark on Friday under the Passport Seva Project (PSP), by issuing the 25 lakh passports.

As is well known, the project, that has since been successfully expanded across the country, was piloted from Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)-Lalbagh under RPO Bengaluru in May 2010.

Besides issuing 25 lakh passports, the office also issued close to 70,000 Police Clearance Certificates in the above period to the residents of Karnataka under its jurisdiction, earning a total revenue of more than Rs 418 crore, till date.
