Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) plans to host a Cargo Connexions Conclave on February 8 in Coimbatore. Organised jointly with India Sea Trade, the conclave will address the various challenges confronting import cargo, logistics and shipping industry and lay a road map for a well-established logistics infrastrucure, said Israr Ahmed, the newly elected Chairman of FIEO (Southern Region). The conclave is expected to bring the various stakeholders onto a single platform, besides adding value to the last-mile connectivity. Over 200 logistics service providers are expected to attend this event, apart from key shippers and officials from the ministry.
