Dalit entrepreneurs’ to hold 'Run for Caste Free India'

Youngsters participating in an awareness campaign "Run for Caste Free India" last year on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar in Hyderabad.

Dalit entrepreneurs are holding a Run for Caste Free India on April 14 in Hyderabad, joining hands with social organisations, intellectuals, bureaucrats and students.

The Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) expects over 10,000 people from various walks of life to take part in the run which is aimed at creating awareness on the stigma of caste.

The fourth edition of the run marks the 124th birth anniversary of Babsaheb Dr B R Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, a DICCI representative said.
