Efforts made to rebuild brand image of AP at Davos: AP CM Naidu

The green-energy, green-hydrogen and Artificial Intelligence (AI) attracted the main focus at the Davos conference this year, Naidu said, adding that there was potential for development of all these sectors in the State

The brand image of Andhra Pradesh is being rebuilt with the efforts made by the State Government at the recently-concluded meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said.

In a interaction with news persons in Amaravati on Saturday, Naidu said Davos conference provided an opportunity for the State Government to highlight its intention to promote the state as an investment destination.

Stating that some `vested interests’ were indulged in `bad propaganda’ on the outcome for the State at the Davos in terms of new investments, the Chief Minister said the visit of AP delegation to Davos provided an opportunity to the State to meet all global investor at one place and also keep abreast of latest trends and preferences in multinational investments.

The green-energy, green-hydrogen and Artificial Intelligence (AI) attracted the main focus at the Davos conference this year, Naidu said, adding that there was potential for development of all these sectors in the State. 

Naidu also met Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft and sought the assistance of Melinda Gates Foundation in achieving the targets of the State Government in various sectors.
