Employability counselling centre opened in Hyderabad

The country’s first employability counselling centre opened in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The TMI e2E Academy, a partner of the National Skill Development Corporation has announced the launch of the Centre here today.

The centre will target rural and semi-urban graduates and provide them skill training so that they are employment ready.

It will be a full-fledged information and facilitation centre for all jobs for graduate/non-graduates with 0 to 2 years of work experience.

It will offer the candidate an opportunity to take a Job Personality Fitment Test (JPFit Test) to find out what kind of jobs will suit his/her personality at the centre itself.

The counselling centre will, over a period of time, provide information on Government and PSU jobs, corporate jobs and micro, small and medium) jobs, all in one place.

Mr T. Muralidharan, Managing Director of TMI Academy, said the Centre will aim to provide a graduate from the rural and semi-urban areas, the right kind of environment and skill sets.

It was planned to launch six new centres in the next three months in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Bhopal and increase the number in a phased manner with the support of the corporation.
