Farm leadership award for KCR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been selected for the Agriculture Leadership Award 2017 of the Indian Council of Food and Agriculture. A committee headed by agriculture scientist MS Swaminathan recommended Rao for the award, which will be presented on September 5 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office. Rao was selected for innovative services rendered for the welfare of farmers and the farm sector.
