India to host AIIB annual meeting

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will hold its next annual meeting in Mumbai on June 25 and 26, 2018. The theme of the meeting will be ‘Mobilising Finance for Infrastructure: Innovation and Collaboration’. India and the AIIB signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect. Meanwhile, the China-based multilateral agency approved a $335-million loan to fully finance the electric Bangalore Metro Rail-R 6 project.
