Karnataka plans to develop a Japanese International Township in a 500-acre plot in Tumukuru district, 80 km from Bengaluru. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Thursday during the launch of engine unit of Toyota Industries Engine India at Jigani that the township will come up at Vasantha Narasapur. Toyota which has a passenger car manufacturing facility near Bengaluru, has so far invested ₹13,000 crore.
