Karnataka woos investors at Aero India

Karnataka government officials meet aviation biggies at the Aero India and offered speedy allotment of lands to companies based on their proposals. They also offered to provide adequate power and other statutory clearances.

Karnataka delegation lead by Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee, Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries, K Rathna Prabha and Commissioner for Industrial Development, Gaurav Gupta, met with number of high level delegations from various countries and also CEOs of global aerospace majors like GIFAS delegation lead by Vincent Gorry, Director of International Affairs, German delegation lead by Uwe Beckmeyer, Parliamentary State Secretary, Israel companies lead by Menahem Kanafi, Consul General and CEO of Dynamatic Technologies, who showed keen interest in associating with Indian SMEs in Aerospace and Defence sector.

Besides a high level delegation of Rolls Royce, Bharath Forge, Boeing, Airbus, BEML, Nasmyth group and others also assured of their continued interest in their investment in Karnataka.

The Chairman, Airport Authority of India also called on Chief Secretary and discussed plans to improve infrastructure facilities in Airports across Karnataka State.
