Kitco to organise leadership programme for start-ups, entrepreneurs

The consultancy firm Kitco will organise a business leadership programme aimed at guiding emerging start-ups and entrepreneurs.

The programme, commencing on July 15, has been designed to provide the entire range of services from developing ideas into business concepts, incubation and mentoring, to develop the concept into products and services. The course ensures launch of business units, Cyriac Davies, Managing Director, Kitco, said.

The 12-week programme will target incubates of various technology business incubators, virtual incubates and working professionals planning to start enterprises who lack proper business model plans. It will accommodate 25 start-ups and will provide training on key entrepreneurial skills, incubation on developing idea-to-business undertaking registration, market surveys, revenue models, and patent filing, among others, he said.

The course fee will be ₹50,000, he said, adding that leading companies will have the opportunity to sponsor the start-ups and participants taking part in this programme as part of their CSR initiative.

The last three weeks of the course will be devoted to meeting investors, business presentation to investors, patenting procedures, team formation, and administration, patent registration, and social skill development.
