Metro Railway, Kolkata, carried 19.53 crore passengers in the financial year 2013-14 against 18.83 crore in 2012-13. It earned ₹130.42 crore against ₹96.93 crore in the previous financial year.
Metro Railway’s total earnings have gone up to ₹145.32 crore, which has registered a growth of 27.95 per cent in comparison to ₹113.57 crore in 2012-13.
Its punctuality quotient increased from 99.58 per cent in 2012-13 to 99.66 per cent in 2013-14.
