One person was killed in a powerful bomb blast at Donganraji in central Assam’s Dima Hasao district early this morning.
The improvised explosive devise (IED) went off at 1 AM in the Umrangso market area.
Police recovered body parts of an unidentified man from the spot. They suspect the dead man to be a militant, who had come to plant the bomb but the IED got triggered earlier. Investigations are on.
