PM Modi to chair meeting on Covid-19 situation

Amid rising number of Covid-19 cases, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a high level meeting on Monday morning to review the Covid-19 management situation.

The meeting comes at a time when India recorded 2,73,810 new cases and 1,619 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the national capital Delhi is set to impose curfew from tonight through the week till Monday next 5 am. A formal announcement is expected soon post the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s meeting with LG Anil Baijal, sources said. Delhi on Sunday logged the biggest jump in daily Covid-19 tally with 25,462 fresh cases, while 161 people died in the last 24 hours.
