Technopark-based IT services and professional services company Collabera has spun off the IT solutions group to form a new company called Brillio.

Brillio will seek to drive innovation through new technology that solves real business problems, a company spokesman said here.

Core areas
The new firm is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, with offices in Bangalore, Silicon Valley and London.

Raj Mamodia, CEO, said Brillio would seek to create a new business model for IT and consulting services companies aimed at achieving best combination of skills, resources and domain expertise to deliver.

Brillio specialises in the areas banking and finance; utilities; retail; technology; and media and entertainment. Its primary mission is to turn ‘disruptions’ in the market into competitive advantage for customers.

Today, technology solutions are not relevant to businesses unless they are aligned with the aggressive goals and pressures of the company to innovate, Mamodia said.

Critical areas Therefore, customers require a partner that will help guide them towards solutions that are contextually relevant.

Brillio helps them focus on three critical areas of innovating for growth; improving business agility; and renewing IT efficiency through automation, new technologies and maturity models.

Mamodia said that Brillio has assembled a team of leaders with industry expertise to form an innovation ecosystem around clients to become extensions of their strategy in order to identify growth opportunities.
