Srinjoy Bose, editor of Bengali daily Sambad Pratidin is said to have resigned from his post as Rajya Sabha MP, as well as from the Trinamool Congress. Bose, was a Trinamool Congress nominated member to the Upper House.
An official confirmation in this connection is yet to be received either from him or the Trinamool.
Arrested in connection with the Saradha scam by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Bose was released on bail yesterday (Wednesday).
He was, until the arrest, also the editor of Trinamool’s mouthpiece, Jago Bangla.
