Vizag IT firm Manuh announces pact with SAP

Manuh Information Systems India Pvt Ltd, a local IT company, has become the first from Visakhapatnam as also among tier-2 cities in Andhra Pradesh to be accredited with SAP, a pioneer in enterprise resource planning (ERP).

At a function organised at the Rushikonda IT SEZ here on Saturday evening, Director-General, CAG of India K.P. Shashidharan launched the partnership between Manuh and SAP.

Big Business India Guru along with Sunil Kumar Gupta, covering all areas concerning investments in India by overseas and domestic investors and the challenges faced by potential investors, said the ERP solutions of SAP provided answers to many of the business problems.

He said he was in agreement with the view of IT SEZ Association President Vishnu Kumar Raju that development of infrastructure facilities were necessary to enable Vizag realise its full potential in the IT sector.

Vishnu Kumar Raju, who is also the MD of NuNet Technologies Pvt Ltd, expressed hope that more IT companies would come to Vizag in the near future. This was because the ITSEZ in the Rushikonda IT Park would be de-notified after which companies from other states could also set up their ventures.

Managing Director of Manuh Info Mallikarjun Akula said that the company, established in Visakhapatnam in 2005, has five units including one in the US, Hyderabad and Bangalore. It was the only company from Vizag to launch the SAP package.
